Formation of Permitted Interaction Group for County Waiwai Grants
I am requesting approximately 15 minutes on the Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions
Committee to form an ad hoe committee, or "permitted interaction group," regarding the County
Waiwai Grants pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes section 92-2.5.
The scope of this permitted interaction group will be as follows:
1. To evaluate and review the 2024-2025 application process; and
2. To discuss and provide recommendations for improvements to the 2025-2026 application
process; and
3. To develop a scoring rubric for the 2025-2026 application process; and
4. To make recommendations on the six-month progress and final reports and review
processes.
Please place this communication on the July 23, 2024, LAAC agenda.
