No. 552-24 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 967 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 552-24, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 552-24, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa, via Communication <br /> No. 924, dated June 20, 2024, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than <br /> one fiscal year for a multi-year lease of real property for the County of Hawai`i Office of Housing and <br /> Community Development. <br /> This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with Kaneshiro & Sons <br /> Enterprise, Limited and Glenn Kaneshiro Partnership, with an approximate monthly cost of$1,827, for <br /> office space located at 1990 Kino`ole Street. <br /> Property Manager Hamana Ventura, Finance Director Diane Nakagawa, and Office of Housing and <br /> Community Development Administrator Susan Kunz were available in chambers for questions. <br /> Committee Member Susan Lee Loy asked if the Finance Department was on track with all of our new <br /> leases for this fiscal year. Ms. Nakagawa stated that they were. <br /> Committee Member Holeka Goro Inaba asked who currently occupies these offices.
