Not allowing tiny homes, trailers, yurts, etc defeats eco-tourism. Hawaii desperately needs eco tourism.
This not only is incredibly sustainable, but also provides a connection for tourists visiting. It will bring less
"using" the environment so precious to us, and more understanding and respect.
I have stated at almost every testimony how this is all aimed at the farmer, the local just trying to make
ends meet. When over half of STVR's are owned by out of state folks. Please if you must stop STVR's,
then phase those out! They bring nothing to our economy. That money is spent in other states.
Do not punish the locals who are invested in our communities by taking away their income!
Fines are exorbitant. Please reconsider.
