Hawaii County Council County Building 25 Aupuni Street Hilo,i-Hawat.i:: I am writing to express my extremely deep concerns regarding Hawaii Bill 121 and its potential impacts on our local economy. Given the sheer number of small business owners involved in this industry, I applaud your agreement to conduct a comprehensive economic study at the last Leeward Planning Commission meeting. However, with the impending call for a vote on bill 121 to take place prior to the economic impact study, it gives the appearance, to the public, of intent to deliberately damage our economy. Given your commitment to the planning commission I would expect a more cautious approach. Therefore, I am requesting formally as a fellow citizen and taxpayer, that the council postpone any vote on bill 121 until after a thorough and exhaustive examination of the hill's potential for damaging economic effects. Most Sincerely; Scott Trefethen Comm. Njo. 0- L Ref. To: PIPOLUD Ref. Dole-*'JUL - 8 LUM
