Subject: Oppose Bills 121, 122 and 123
Dear Council Member,
I have made many visits to the Hawaiian islands over the years with the purpose of immersing in the
culture by direct connections with local islanders and the natural surroundings. I have always stayed
at a local bed and breakfast and purchased meals through farmers markets there. It is the only way
to have this unique and important experience. It is for this reason that I oppose Bills 121, 122 and
123 which will certainly hurt agricultural tourism and tourism in general, especially for many like me
who respect'and appreciate the true nature of the Hawaiian islands and her local populations.
