SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution. No. 539, Draft 2; A Resolution Requesting the County
Auditor to Conduct a Performance Audit of the Department of Research and
Development to Promote Transparency, Accountability, and Effective Resource
Utilization.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 539, Draft 2. During its meeting on July 10, 2024, the
Council amended Resolution No. 539 with the contents of Communication No. 908.2, resulting
in the attached draft.
The Council then voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1(d) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization
of the Council of the County of Hawai `i, which requires a holdover of a substantively amended
resolution, and adopted Resolution No. 539, as amended to Draft 2.
