RESOLUTION NO. 5G2 24
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI-
YEAR AGREEMENT WITH SP COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, LLC, TO
REPLACE HAWAI`I COUNTY SHARED -USE ELECTRIC VEHICLES
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract,
lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later
fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development desires to enter into
a multi -year agreement for ten (10) years with SP County of Hawaii, LLC; and
WHEREAS, is purpose of this agreement is to replace the County's disposed
shared -use electric vehicle fleet with eight new electric vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the agreement covers the cost of the vehicles, paint
protection/ceramic film, stickers, decals, dealer accessories, Iice nselregistration,
delivery, maintenance reserve, monthly detailing service, and cloud -based telematics
asset management; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAPI:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a ten (10) year agreement,
with SP County of Hawaii, LLC for the purpose as described above.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the
anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of Management, the Finance Department,
Department of Research and Development.
