If this is passed you would put my family into bankruptcy here on the Big Island because you would be ending my families source of income to sustain ourselves. I know what happened on Kauai. I lived on Kauai before Big Island. I know Kauai government was only helping the big billionaire hotels and pushed Hawaiians off of the islands. That is what happened to Kauai in a matter of years. Now my friend and her family who for generations owned a hostel in Kauai got shut down because of the "new" Kauai law that got put in place only to help billionaire hotels in Kauai and shut down affordable housing shut as her hostel. For the bill you are trying to impose... try to get the guys at the top to know to keep Hawaii Hawaii and stop destroying Hawaii. Everyone knows it's expensive enough as it is here and these bills will only make Hawaii even more expensive for everyone. Please remind the guys at the top of the government: that them going to grave with money in their pockets from hurting us people is emptiness to their souls, Life is not about all about being rich'and ultimately the leaders at the top know money does not fill emptiness. Think about people who have disabilities; as in a family member with disabilities (or disabled child) thats run a small b&b, so that she can provide for their family financially and also in -person be able take care of the disabled family member.
