Aloha,
I'm writing this testimony to draw attention to my situation as a short term rental owner and host which is not unique. I
live on social security. Renting out my small downstairs unit short time gives me financial stability in retirement.
think the legislators concern should also be for people like me who don't have a big income and benefit from that extra
income in a way that we don't have to worry for example to pay the mortgage of the house we live in and would lose
otherwise, and with the rents that high, who knows, would end up homeless and just adding to the housing problem
The Lawmakers should prioritize and address concerns related to out-of-state investor and individuals with multiple STR's
as they most likely not contribute positively to our community.
