Subject: Oppose Bill 121, 122,123
Please oppose these bills. They will have the reverse effect on the economy of the Big Island.
1. Elimination of short-term housing will not create new long-term housing. The effect of these bills
would only benefit hotels and resort areas.
2. These bills will hurt farmers and other local people financially with the resulting loss of jobs.
Please reconsider these bills as harmful to the economy of the Big Island. Please look for other options to
solve the problem. Perhaps lower taxes so people can afford to live on the Big Island.
