Subject: We oppose bills 121,122, and 123
To Hawaii Country Council, as a resident in Hawaii, I am representing my friends on the mainland and
around the world who come to visit and love this island, we are opposed to these bills. Why would you
want to slow down tourism due to the increase in the costs to rent an ohana or go to a workshop ?
These bills will raise the costs of visiting and the average person is already being hit by inflation this will
deter them even more. I pay your salary and you try to pass this awful legislation?V? Who do you truly
work for???
Bill 123 would make me the homeowner an accessoryto a crime which I had no idea what my renter
might be doing, this is outrageous! I as a homeowner if my tenant does something which I know nothing
about, but if it was something illegal then I would be complicit to this crime? I think you all who support
these bills should leave our sweet beautiful island and go back to the big city where you kind of thinking
originated!
This is not right, this is not the aloha energy and certainly is not in support of us Hawaiians, maybe go
back to your home in Russia but your kind of thoughts don't belong in Hawaii nor on our County Council.
If you ignore we the residents ema!ls and decide you are omnipotent and pass these Bills 121,122, and
123, you can be sure we the people will network very hard to get you all replaced!
