I am submitting my testimony against Bill 166. The Subdivision of 20 acres of old rain forest growth. The main reasons for my objections are I have personally seen the federally endangered Horay bat reside in the 20 acre parcel, The parcel is full of Ohia trees and endemic plants and birds. I've recorded the endangered Iwi in this area. This parcel is a critical part of maintaining the habitat up here that subdividing will negatively impact. Please do not just stamp approval of this subdivision just because the neighbors subdivision was approved. What's happening up in Kaloko area is the deforestation of the rain forest. All you have to do is take a drive up here to witness it. I ask you to vote no on this bill 166. 1 ask that you adhere to your prior decision of an unfavorable recommendation, Mahalo, 0 Karie Wakat iw J.,a1 1 Comm. N 'Al. it Ref.
