Subject: Oppose Bill 169, Kona Three LLC
Aloha County Council,
Thank you to those Council members who voted on a negative recommendation for the Kona Three
project. For those who voted otherwise, I respectfully and wholeheartedly appreciate your
reconsideration.
Please oppose this project.
There are many reasons to oppose it: increased runoff from a flood plain and impacts on ocean health,
inadequate sewage treatment capacity, lack of true affordable housing,traffic, infrastructure, etc.
That said,the Cultural Resources Commission's assertion that this should never be built is, on its own,
sufficient reason.
