Subject: Oppose Bill 169, Kona Three LLC
Aloha mai Councilmembers,
I am opposed to this project because it is set to be developed in a floodplain without any measures to mitigate the
impact on the people living downstream. I am also concerned about the endangered cultural resources that will be
affected.Additionally, I am worried about the additional 450 units putting strain on an already struggling wastewater
treatment facility.
I want to express my gratitude to Councilmembers Evans, Kagiwada, Kimball,Villegas, and Chair Inaba for their support
in opposing a 10-year extension to this project.
I respectfully ask Councilmembers Galimba, Kanaeali'i-Kleinfelder, Keirkiewicz, and Lee Loy to reconsider their vote and
oppose this extension request.
