Subject: Support for Res 546-24
Dear council members,
As a resident of this island I write to support Resolution 546-24 for the purchase of easements from Waimea to the
Kohala coast. These easements would allow for building a recreational and transportation trail from Church Row in
Waimea to the south Kohala coast. Such a trail would be a wonderful addition to our island, providing a long,safe multi-
use trail for outdoor recreation and transportation. The easements and trail will also help protect the Waikoloa stream
corridor. The trail will provide public access to an area that may otherwise be closed off by various development
projects.
I encourage you to approve PONC funds for this worthwhile purpose.This will be a wonderful investment in the health
and well-being of our community and residents.
