SUBJECT: Presentation by Hawaiian Electric
I respectfully request at least 45-minutes of time on August 6, 2024, during the appropriate
committee agenda, for a presentation by Hawaiian Electric on its Wildfire Safety Strategy and
Public Safety Power Shutoff program.
Presented by Jennifer Zelko-Schlueter, Hawaiian Electric's Director of Government and
Community Affairs (Hawai`i Island), we anticipate the presentation to be 30 minutes, with
15 minutes for a question-and-answer period.
