AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 6, SECTION 24-288.1, SCHEDULE 36.1 OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION), RELATING TO ACTIVE LOADING AND UNLOADING ZONES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I:
SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to designate an area for distribution of consumer goods to patrons and neighboring businesses.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-288.1, schedule 36.1, entitled “Active loading and unloading zones,” subsection “(e) Kohala,” of the Hawaiʻi County Code 1983
(2016 edition), is amended by adding new listing to be appropriately inserted and to read as follows:
Akoni Pule Highway, north side, from a point seventy-three feet west of Holy Bakery Road and extending twenty feet in a westerly direction.
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions
or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
