SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 558-24; a Resolution
Transferring/Appropriating an Appropriation Out and From a Designated Fund
Account and Crediting Same to a Designated Fund Account to Provide a Grant to
the Hawaiian Canoe Racing Association for Zero Waste Services at the
International Va`a Federation World Sprint Championship.
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 558-24. The proposed amendment is
shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 558-24; material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. A copy of the new
draft of this resolution that would result if this proposed amendment were to be adopted is
intentionally omitted due to the limited scope of the proposed amendment.
The fifth WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, the HCRA is requesting fiends for water jugs and zero waste
services [at], which include the treatment, segregation, collection, removal,
transportation, recycling; and/or disposal of waste that was generated by the IVF World
Sprint Championship; and"
