RESOLUTION NO. 57C 24
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A
LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR
FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR ONE (1) LARGE FORMAT
MULTI-FUNCTION DEVICE FOR THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract,
lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a
later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawai'i wishes to enter into a multi-year lease for
five (5) years, for one (1) large format multi-function device capable of copying,
scanning and printing, for the Planning Department; and
WHEREAS, this device will be utilized by the Planning Department's West
Hawaii office in Kailua-Kona; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year
lease for the equipment as indicated above, for the Planning
Department.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the
anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the
agreement.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of
Hawaii shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of Management,
the Planning Department, and the Department of Finance.
