Aloha,
1 am writing in support of Bill 556.
Here is rural Puna there are no Hotels or other places to stay, and the Puna Economy is wholly
dependent on Short Term Vacation Rentals. Banning them will destroy an economy already devastated
by the volcanic eruption of 2018. Our restaurants, stores, and all the other people dependent on STRs
will suffer greatly.
Please fund a study to confirm all the people this will devastate financially before taking action.
