Subject: Bill 556
Bill 556 funds the economic impact study that is so important to all of us. The study will look at the
short-term rental industry, its positive impacts on the economy, the beautiful County of
Hawaii, its people, and community. The study will likely describe the negative impacts of Bill 121 and
similar restrictive legislation. We rely on rental income to pay our taxes and other fees associated with
our wonderful home on the big island. We understand how severe the economic impacts of Bill 121
will have on us personally, the big island population, and the island. We love the island. The island
has loved us. Please fund the economic study.
