SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 121, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending Chapter 25, Articles
1, 4, and 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended),
Relating to Transient Accommodation Rentals and Hosting Platforms.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 121, Draft 2. During its meeting on July 8, 2024, the Policy
Committee on Planning, Land Use, and Development amended Bill No. 121 with the contents of
Communication Nos. 675.160, 675.161, 675.162, and 675.163, resulting in the attached draft.
The Committee then voted to postpone Bill No. 121, as amended to Draft 2, to the meeting
scheduled for August 20, 2024,
