SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 122, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending Chapter 25 and
Chapter 14, Article 4, Section 14-20, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016
Edition, as Amended), Relating to the Repeal of Bed and Breakfast as a Permitted
Use.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 122, Draft 2. During its meeting on July 8, 2024, the Policy
Committee on Planning, Land Use, and Development amended Bill No. 122 with the contents of
Communication Nos. 676.7 and 676.8, resulting in the attached draft.
The Committee then voted to postpone Bill No. 122, as amended to Draft 2, to the meeting
scheduled for August 20, 2024.
