SUBJECT: Request to Conduct a Limited Meeting; Bill No. 169, Draft 3; Extension of Time
to Complete Conditions; TMK 7-6-021:016 and 017
This memorandum serves to notice that I intend to make a motion to authorize the Council to
conduct a Limited Meeting pursuant to Section 92-3. 1, Hawaii Revised Statues.
The Limited Meeting would allow the Council to conduct an area visit to locations within the
vicinity of TMK 7-6-021:16 and 17 as part of its deliberations on Bill No. 169, Draft 3. This area
tour will stop at six locations as outlined in the attached directions and map. The route will take
approximately two hours round trip.
Please place this communication on the August 21, 2024, Council agenda for consideration
during deliberation on Bill No. 169, Draft 3.

1. Head east toward Ane Keohokalole Hwy
2. Turn right at the 1 st cross street onto Ane Keohokalole Hwy
3. Continue straight onto Henry St
4. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto HI-11/Hawai`i Belt Rd
5. Continue to follow HI-11
6. Turn left onto Lako St
Stop 1: Intersection Lako St and Hualalai Rd
1. Head southwest on Lako St toward N Pakalakala PI
2. Turn right onto Liholiho PI
Stop 2: North End of Liholiho PI
1. Head south on Liholiho PI toward Lako St
2. Turn right onto Lako St
3. Turn right onto Kekuanaoa PI
Stop 3: North End of Kekuanaoa PI
1. Head southeast on Kekuanaoa PI toward Kamehamalu St
2. Turn right onto Lako St
3. Turn right onto HI -I l/Hawai`i Belt Rd
4. Continue to follow HI-11
5. Turn left onto Kuakini Hwy
6. Turn left to stay on Kuakini Hwy
Stop 4: Culvert at the intersection of Kuakini HWY and HI-11.
Continue Northwest on Kuakini Hwy
Stop 5: Flood plain view from Kuakini Hwy
1. Head southeast on Kuakini Hwy toward HI-11
2. Turn left onto HI-11
3. Turn right onto Puapuaanui St
4. Turn right onto Hoomama St
Stop 6: South End of Hoomama St
1. Head northwest on. Hoomama St toward Hookuku Moho St
