AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-
280, SCHEDULE 28 OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO NO PARKING AT ANYTIME.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I:
SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to prohibit parking alongside a certain section of Kaʻiminani Drive.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28, entitled “No parking at anytime,” subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaiʻi County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended),
is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read as follows:
Kaʻiminani Drive, south side, from a point fifty-one feet southeast of Waikane Place and extending to a point three hundred ninety-nine feet northwest of Waikane Place.
Kaʻiminani Drive, north side, from a point seventy-five feet southeast of Anapau Place and extending to a point sixty-nine feet northwest of Waikane Place.
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions
or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
