SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 174, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending Chapter 19, Article
7, Section 19-53, and Article 10, Section 19-71, of the Hawaii County Code 1983
(2016 Edition, as Amended), Relating to Real Property Taxes.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 174, Draft 2. During its meeting on August 7, 2024, the Council
amended Bill No. 174 with the contents of Communication Nos. 905.6 and 905.7, resulting in the
attached draft.
The Council then voted to pass Bill No. 174, as amended to Draft 2, on first reading.
