Aloha County Council. Members,
My name is Kari Hanson, and I strongly support Resolution 561-24. This Kona Three, LLC was not
recommended for development by credible organizations nor its community because it has great
cuhuraisignificance innmajor FEMAFioodZoneareo.Areyouknovvigdgoab\etothefaotthatKnna,
empeciaKtwimthis area, has inadequate infrastructure and cannot accommodate their pKammfor 450
housing units.
This PONC opportunity however provides a win -win solution for Land that should never have been
rezoned and allowed for housing development inthe 8Ooand mhmuWdn'tbe granted an extension after
40 years. To be purchase -ready as an opportunity is very important to our community, and the
Landowner woutcl have a respectful way out of this and do what is right towards preserving Native
Hawaiian culture, protecting a major flood zone and our community from flood and runoff onto our coral
reef.
Waare begging you'uurCountyCounciinnernbenatotimtentmourmmany years of infrastructure
support requests instead.
