Hovvoi'iCounty Council Members,
My family and I strongly encourage you to move forward on the track to negotiate, purchase, and
preserve the 68.84 parcels currently under review.
There are a multitude of concerns and probLems with any development that woutcl occur on these
properties. This tand has atready received PONC approval. as a priority acquisition. This approval. was
done even in advance of many more known facts that have come to light in the two years since it atready
was piaC8dOOthe priority list.
Moving forward with the purchase woutcl provide an opportunity for the investors that purchase the
property for $600,000 +/- in or around 2016 to recoup their investments as wel.l. as make a reasonabte
profit. Such a move to purchase the tand for conservation atso wilt serve to protect and preserve very
important open space. A purchase by PONC, the County witt honor the tand and it's Rich cultural and
archaeological. heritage as wet[ as federally endangered species and resolve concerns ptaced in
testimony over multipte forms, multiple years about infrastructure, watersheds, and other important
safety, infrastructure, and environmental. issues.
I would also urge you to defer discussions on Bitl. 169 until Resolution 561-24 has had a chance tofully
play out by giving the current investors a chance to negotiate alongside the county to retain this as open
8p8C8.
