I SUPPORT of Resolution 561-24
Aloha County Council Members,
I strongly support Resolution 561-24. Kona Three, LLC was not recommended
for development by credible organizations like the Leeward Planning
Commission, our Cultural Commission, Soil & Water Conservation, Natural
Resource Conservation Service, and local archeologists, and not in alignment
with our Kona Community Development Plan because it has great cultural
significance, in a major FEMA Flood Zone. This area especially has inadequate
infrastructure creating major traffic jams and stress our already over burdened
water supply.
This PONC opportunity provides a solution for land that should never have
been rezoned and allowed for housing development.
