Objectives: To service at least 2,000 victims and victim survivors by providing advocacy and information throughout the criminal case. Outcomes or Results: The Victim Assistance Unit provided services to a total of 6,350 victims, 887 witnesses, 172 secondary victims, and 532 other parties to cases involving approximately 21 different types of victimizations.
