The proposed <br />amendment is shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 134, <br />Draft 2; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be inserted is underscored. A <br />copy of the new draft of this bill that would result if this proposed amendment were adopted is <br />intentionally omitted due to the limited scope of the amendment. <br />SECTION 1 of Bill No. 134, Draft 2, which amends chapter 25, article 2, section 25-2-42 of the <br />Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended) by amending subsection (c), is amended <br />by amending paragraph (4) to read as follows: <br />"(4) The director shall prepare a report [identifying all buildings elud ng existing <br />buildings that are legally per-: ittede a ,struete ] on surrounding properties of <br />which any portion is within one -quarter mile of the perimeter boundary of the <br />subject property[. The diffeete-f , and further shall transmit the report to the <br />commission and the council prior to their respective consideration of the change of <br />zone sought by the application.
