SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 562-24, Draft 2; a Resolution
Authorizing the Mayor to Enter into a Multi -Year Agreement with
Hawaii Island EV, LLC, to Replace Hawaii County Snared -Use Electric
Vehicles.
Please see below a proposed amendii-ient to Resolution No. 562-24, Draft 2. The proposed
amendment is illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution
No. 562-24, Draft 2; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is
underscored.
1. The title is amended to Dead as follows:
"RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI-
YEAR AGREEMENT WITH [HAWAAI`-I] HAWAII ISLAND EV, LLC, TO
REPLACE HAWAI`I COUNTY SHARED -USE ELECTRIC VEHICLES"
2. The second WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development desires to enter into a
multi -year agreement for ten (10) years with [I1-awali] Hawaii Island EV, LLC; and"

3. The BE IT RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAPI:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a ten (10) year agreement, with
[Hawai4] Hawaii Island EV, LLC for the purpose as described. above.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in fixture fiscal years to cover the anticipated
obligations of the County tinder the terms of the agreement."
Due to the limited scope of the proposed amendment, a copy of the draft of this resolution, that
would result if the amendment is adopted, is not attached.
