JNtYwos M,!,, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I •f6`:''' 1: • STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 591 24 <br /> A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORGANIZATION <br /> OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I BY AMENDING RULE NO. 26. <br /> WHEREAS, on December 5, 2022, the Council of the County of Hawai`i ("the <br /> Council") adopted the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of <br /> Hawai`i ("the Rules") as provided in Resolution No. 4-22 to govern the affairs of the Council; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Rule No. 16(1) states that the Rules "may be amended at a regular Council <br /> meeting by resolution approved by an affirmative majority vote of the entire membership of the <br /> Council;" and <br /> WHEREAS,the Council finds that Rule No. 26, subrule (3), governing District <br /> Contingency Relief accounts, bears further consideration and clarification; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br /> Rule No. 26 of the Rules is hereby amended by amending subrule (3), clause (c) to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "(c) [Expenditures] Funds shall be transferred to [County agencies] a County <br /> agency using the appropriate legislative mechanisms [for the benefit of the <br /> te] to benefit the public through the agency or an eligible nonprofit <br /> [organizations.] organization." <br />
