COUNTY OF HAWAI'I STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 607 24 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF <br /> DONATIONS OF ANIMAL CONTROL EQUIPMENT TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I ANIMAL CONTROL AND PROTECTION <br /> AGENCY. <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Animal Control and Protection Agency <br /> has received various equipment, valued at approximately $144,595, from Bar-King <br /> Dog Kennel, Hawaii Island Humane Society, and Hawaii Rainbow Rangers; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment, as specified in Exhibit A, will be utilized island <br /> wide within the Animal Control and Protection Agency; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Animal Control and Protection Agency recommends <br /> approval of these donations from Bar-King Dog Kennel, Hawaii Island Humane <br /> Society, and Hawaii Rainbow Rangers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, <br /> that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, <br /> the County of Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
