Aloha, Please stand with 1,956 people and Oppose Bill 169. Please create a Big Island map of all the developments that are currently underway and that have been approved for the future because I don't see how anyone can truly know how much development there is if there is no detailed map of where the current developments are and where the -future approved developments are. AM drive now has a new development that is just starting, when did this get approved? And there are a lot of developments going on with many signs for Homes Coming all over the Big Island. Can we please get a better understanding of what is being created all over the island? A detailed map is what we ALL need. Remember Jennifer, when we spoke on the phone you didn't know about developments that I was telling you about? How can anyone make a proper decision without fully understanding the consequences? Are you all aware that there is a sign on top of Patani Rd. that says we are at a 25% conserve water period? I saw this sign yesterday on Palani Rd, just drive up there and you'll see it. The island gets a lot of rain so how can we use all this rain in a better way? Can you work on this question before you continue to approve more developments because as of right now they are telling us to conserve water so approving this big development when we are currently in a water conserve period would be an extremely poor decision because it you would NOT be looking out for the safety of all who Live here already and the visitors that currently need water. If there isn't enough water for all of us now, how will there be enough water for big future developments. Please address the resource issues before approving more developments. The Island's resources need to be addressed and we need to find a way to use more of the island's water before approving more developments so we are not in water conserve periods ever. We need to find another landfill area or somehow find a way to take care of the island's trash in a better way, maybe something like these other countries have done https://www.goodnet.org/articles/5- countries-creative-approach-to-tras-disposa . Can we start getting creative and creating a safer island before approving more developments that are going to need more resources that the island doesn't have? This is an island and it would help the island to have a building stipulation in where the developer has to sell a high percentage to Hawaiians, and locals who have lived here for many years, to help keep the increase in population at a reasonable rate for the island's resources and infrastructure.
