Aloha, I hope all are well.
I am amazed that his permit is still an issue. If anyone from the Planning Commission,
the County Council or the Planning Department would go look at this property, they
would see that is not a property that should be developed. That's because it's a natural
drainage area, plain and simple. Most people are not against developing homes for
those who need them, but this is not a development that will provide anything actually
"affordable" by any calculation.
Please realize that many properties below the highway will get flooded and there will
be major issues for everyone that lives in that area. Who's going to take responsibility
for these homes and properties that are down below?
