Please vote against granting a 10-year time extension on the "Royal Vistas 450-unit projectxvhichisonthe
agenda for the Aug 21 council meeting. It should be clear to you that the community does not want the
project, which does nothing to provide the kind of housing the community needs but will only aggravate the
traffic and infrastructure problems. The Planning department meetings and overwhelming testimony aswell
asthe recommendation from the Cultural Resources Committee should have convinced you bynow tovote
NO on the project. A few reminders:
° Approximately 15OOpeople have signed a petition against the project . Many signers are from Kona or
Hilo. Cultural Practitioners are among the testifiers and signers
