I am a lifetime resident and community members of Holualoa and West Hawai'i, over 9 decades, and ) OPPOSE Bill 169^Draft

I want to address our representatives who wish to see this bill passed. I am urging you to heed the recommendations lmour
residents, credible organizations, and professionals that this land is not fit for any development, not now or in the future.
Instead, open space preservation is recommended to restore a riparian forest in this natural floodplain to protect our
community and avoiding excessive public costs and risks due major infrastructure concerns.
