JMtV Of <br />G�•yl (- '�ii <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAII <br />'1rE OF •N' <br />RESOLUTION NO. 621 24 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br />YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR LEASE FOR <br />A MULTIFUNCTION, COLOR PRINTER FOR THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY <br />CLERK, SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Article X, Section 10-11, of the County Charter, any contract, <br />lease, or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br />or of more than one fiscal year shall be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a five-year lease for a <br />multifunction, color printer for the Office of the County Clerk, Support Services Division; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease for the current multifunction, color printer is expired, and due to <br />the high volume of print requests to Support Services, a new printer is needed to replace the old <br />one; and <br />WHEREAS, the estimated lease payment for a multifunction, color printer would be <br />approximately $2,000 per month, which is less than the previous lease; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five-year lease agreement for a multifunction, color <br />printer for the Office of the County Clerk, Support Services Division. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds shall be budgeted in future fiscal <br />years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
