RESOLUTION CHANGING TIME ELEMENT OF TWO (2) FIRE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER II (1/2T) POSITIONS TO FULL-TIME
WHEREAS, Position Nos. OO-05379 and OO-05380, Fire Communications Officer II (1/2T) positions within the Hawai‘i County Fire Department, were established via Ordinance 22-63; and
WHEREAS, due to extenuating circumstances, these positions are no longer necessary and would be better utilized as clerical support staff; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department wishes to increase the positions’ time element from 1/2 time to full-time with the intent to later reallocate them to positions that provide the department
with additional clerical support in which they are in dire need of; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Position Nos. OO-05379 and OO-05380, Fire Communications Officer II (1/2T), be changed to full-time.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawai‘i shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of Management, the Department of Human Resources and the
Department of Finance.
