My name is Joy Dillon and | am testifying as a private citizen.
Thank you for the opportunity tnsubmit opinions regarding this proposed bill. |amsubmitting -
testimony in opposition to Bill 122. The testimony that I have heard is against doing away with this
cherished and preferred lodging for many visitors. |nfact, Council members indiscussing this bill, have
questioned the purpose nfthis bill. What positive outcome isexpected bvrepealing Bed & Breakfast as
apermitted use? The owners of these properties have worked long and hard to obtain the required
Special Use Permit. With the passage of this bill they will then be lumped together with all other short
term rental properties and have torenew their registration every year. This isnot arequirement for a
Special Use Permit and iaunfair tothese owners. Please reconsider the passage ofthis bill. |tisnot
needed urwanted.
