Members: <br />I am pleased to nominate Mr. Birk Billingsley of District 9 to the Veterans Advisory Committee. <br />Birk earned his Doctor of Law degree from Indiana University. He also holds a Master of <br />Science in Multi -Disciplinary Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical <br />Engineering, both from Purdue University. Notably, Mr. Billingsley served as a Captain in the <br />United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He has resided in the State of Hawaii for <br />the past two years. <br />Birk currently serves as General Counsel for TK Airport Solutions, Inc. He is also an active <br />member of his community, serving as a Human Rights Commissioner. His distinguished military <br />service earned him the Meritorious Unit Commendation and an Air Service Medal.
