Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs,to which was referred
Communication No. 1010, reports as follows:
Communication No. 1010, transmitted by Mayor Mitchell D. Roth, dated August 14, 2024,
requests the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Nathan Gaddis to the
Banyan Drive Hawai`i Redevelopment Agency.
Executive Assistant to the Mayor Pomaika`i Bartolome was present in the Hilo Chambers to
introduce Mr. Gaddis, who was also present in the Hilo Chambers.
Several members spoke in favor of the appointment.
Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Communication No. 1010, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of
Nathan Gaddis to the Banyan Drive Hawai`i Redevelopment Agency.
