I'm writing toexpress nlydeep concerns about Bill 121.
As my husband and I rent out one of our bedrooms and bathrooms, short term as a vacation renta I room,
Vvafeet that this bill with all the new requirements itwill add is complicated, expensive and burdensome.
Renting the extra room on Airbnb helps us to be able to afford to live here and contribute
to the local economy. My job and my husband's small business don't provide the income needed to live
and not rent out the extra room. Renting short term through Airbnb gives us ftexibility to block off nights
for rentals if we have family or friends that come to stay for a few days. This is important to us to have this
flexibility of not having the room rented for months or years.
|fvveare required topay the registrationhaea and gothrough the complex registrationprocess, with
the threat of $10,000 per day fines, we would not rent the room anymore and it woutd sit empty except
for keeping itev8ii8b\efor visiting family and friends.
