Kimball, Chair <br />And Members of the Hawaii County Council <br />FROM: Dr. Holeka Goro Inaba, Council Member <br />Council District 8 <br />SUBJECT: Report of Ad Hoc Committee created on July 23, 2024, via Communication No. <br />934 regarding the Formation of Permitted Interaction Group for County Waiwai <br />Grants <br />I am requesting approximately 45 minutes on the Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions <br />Committee to report back to this committee regarding matters presented and discussed by the <br />permitted interaction group (ad hoc committee) created on July 23, 2024, via Communication <br />No. 934 regarding the County Waiwai Grants, pursuant to Hawai `i Revised Statutes section 92- <br />2.5. <br />The information to be presented by the ad hoc committee is within the scope of this permitted <br />interaction group as was created, as follows: <br />1. To evaluate and review the 2024-2025 application process; and <br />2. To discuss and provide recommendations for improvements to the 2025-2026 application <br />process; and <br />3. To develop a scoring rubric for the 2025-2026 application process; and <br />4.
