This memorandum is in response to the request by Councilmember Matthew
Kanealii-Kleinfelder, for monthly runaway updates. The updates requested the
following information: the names of current runaways, the total number to date for
this year, the total number to date for last year, and a cross-reference of repeat
runaways. The requested data is below.
The total number of current runaways- 7
The names of runaways with signed current media waivers are:
Area I (Hilo, Hamakua and Puna)
Mary COSTNER, F-1 7, Repeat Runaway
Hunter MERCIER, M-17, Not a Repeat Runaway
Damon WEBER, M-1 7, Not a Repeat Runaway
Area 11 (Ka'u, Kona, South Kohala and North Kohala)
Mealii RONSEY, F-1 5, Repeat Runaway
The sex and age of runaways without signed current media waivers are:
