SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 184, Draft 2; an Ordinance Amending Chapter 22, Article 2
and Article 3, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended),
Relating to the Use of County Streets; and Establishing a Special Activity Permit
for Commercial Activities.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 184, Draft 2. During its meeting on September 16, 2024, the
Policy Committee on Infrastructure and Assets amended Bill No. 184 with the contents of
Communication No. 944.3, resulting in the attached draft.
The Committee then voted to recommend passage of Bill No. 184, as amended to Draft 2, at first
reading.
