The <br />amendment is shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. <br />630, Draft 2; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is <br />underscored. A copy of the new draft of this resolution that would result if this proposed <br />amendment were adopted is intentionally omitted due to the limited scope of the amendment. <br />The fourth WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows: <br />"WHEREAS, legislative proposals submitted by Hawaii County Council are listed <br />below and copies attached hereto as Exhibit A: <br />1. A draft bill to repeal the preemption of local authority to regulate tobacco products; <br />2. A draft bill to allow the counties to request a State land use boundary amendment <br />from the agricultural to rural districts for small, contiguous parcels; <br />3. A draft bill to require denitrification in individual wastewater systems under certain <br />conditions; <br />4. A draft bill to regulate midwife licensure; <br />5. A draft bill to advance the mandated timeline and provide for more resources and <br />funding for cesspool conversions; <br />6. A draft bill to extend the county surcharge of the general excise tax until 2040; [and] <br />7. A draft bill to further regulate agricultural tourism; and <br />8.
