Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 200, reports as follows:
Bill No. 200, transmitted by Director of Finance Diane Nakagawa via Communication No. 1019, dated
August 28, 2024, amends Ordinance No. 24-32, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants—Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant
account($228,640); and appropriates the same to the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant
account. Funds would be used to create an Energy Management Plan for County of Hawai`i facilities.
There was no discussion on the measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 200, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
