Subject: Dedication of Sewerline and Facilities within Makaala
Street to County of Hawaii
As noted in our November 12, 1998 letter, the Department of
Hawaiian Homes Lands (DHHL) concurs with the effort by Maryl
Group, Inc., the successor to Maryl Development, Inc. (Maryl
Group) to dedicate to the County of Hawaii the Sewerline and
facilities constructed by Maryl Group connecting the Waiakea
Center project from Makaala Street to the Hilo Wastewater
Treatment Plant in Hilo, Hawaii.
This letter reconfirms the department's position in concurring
with Maryl Group's effort to dedicate the subject Sewerline and
appurtenant facilities to the County of Hawaii.
